How do I know if my jewelry is a good candidate for redesign?
Most heirloom jewelry can be redesigned, regardless of age, condition, or stone size. During your consultation, we’ll evaluate your diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals and recommend the best options for creating a beautiful new piece.
Can you repurpose the original precious metals?
Sometimes. While reusing existing metals is not always recommended due to quality concerns during recasting, we can evaluate each piece individually. If the metal cannot be reused, we can apply its value as a credit toward your redesign.
What does the redesign process look like?
Our process begins with a consultation to discuss your jewelry, style, and vision. From there, we evaluate your stones and metals, develop custom design concepts, create CAD renderings, and produce a wax model for approval before handcrafting your finished piece. Throughout the custom design process, you’ll have opportunities to review and refine the design to ensure every detail is exactly right.
Do I have to use all of the original stones in the new design?
No, you may choose to incorporate all, some, or just a few of your original stones. Any unused stones can be returned to you or saved for future projects.
Are my items insured while in your possession?
Yes. Every piece is carefully documented and evaluated upon intake to ensure appropriate insurance coverage while in our care.
Can I complete a jewelry redesign project remotely?
Absolutely. We work with clients nationwide and provide a secure, insured shipping process. Initial consultations can often begin with photos before your jewelry is sent to our studio. A jewelry intake kit is provided after the initial consultation.
