The custom jewelry process starts with a personal Design Consultation with Lindsay and Shawn, D&H Owners and Chief Designers. We get to know you, your tastes, and using our GIA expertise and decades of experience in designing made-to-measure jewelry, we guide you through the possibilities virtually or in our San Francisco showroom.
A selection of high quality, ethically sourced gemstone options is curated for the project. We specialize in GIA Certified natural diamonds, up-cycled antique diamonds, as well as sapphires and unique colored stones.
After choosing the materials, we create the visual design in-house using Computer Aided Design and life-sized 3D printed wax models. Lifelike rendering will help you to visualize the creation. With your feedback, we perfect the piece. The custom jewelry design process is fun.
